That’s when I found an IIT Graduate tutor in India referred by one of my friends, who could work with my daughter. In just six weeks or so, the girl’s grades started to go up.

Methodology we follow

• Our Tutors will have a talk with students and find the gaps (if any) and will prepare a draft roadmap for learning. We believe in holistic and experimental learning. We are more of a mentor-friend than a conventional.

• We combine theory with practice and imagery as often as possible and we make sure that student clearly understands each task.

• After every session, we will send a recorded video to revise and some attractive materials, assignments which are corrected and discussed by our tutors so that students understand mistakes.

• We also conduct tests after each topic to ensure the child’s performance as well as to improvise their weak areas.

How do we assess the student?

Assignments: After each session and corrected by the tutor and discuss the weak points.

Exams: After completion of each topic we conduct the exam to improve the areas where children lack concepts.

Concept Maps: We ask students to represent graphically their conceptual understanding in the form of concept maps, a strategy for assessing students’ understanding.

Concept Test: This is a short informal test conducted during the class to gauge whether students understand key concepts.

Through our practical experiences, this process had made a lot of difference in the student understanding. Which of course leads to boost up their levels.
